One of my favorite lines from Gossip Girl’s first episode of the third season “Reversals of Fortune” was Chuck Bass telling Blair Waldorf, “I’m not Chuck Bass without you.” For a character like Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) who in the first two seasons didn’t think he could be serious or monogamous with a woman because he was “Chuck Bass,” this is so cool for Blair (Leighton Meester) and “Chair” fans in general. (Here’s a list of winners) Lively and Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester presented an award during the show. In this dress, Lively reminds me of Barbie. Seriously, if you put this dress on Barbie, she would look just like Lively because of the “perfect” cleavage showing. Lively, who usually wears her long blonde locks down, chose to wear her hair up in a braid. The dress also featured a thigh-high front split. Blair (Leighton Meester) is determined to maintain her Queen B status in college as she embarks on her first day at New York University.
Unfortunately, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) turns up as Blair’s roommate, and is determined to make Blair a social outcast.
Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) are also enrolling at NYU, of course.
As Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) prepares to go to Brown, she and Chuck (Ed Westwick) have a big-time falling out, so she recruits Chuck’s nemesis, Carter Baizen (Sebastian Stan), to help her get even.
Meanwhile, Nate (Chace Crawford) and Bree (JoAnna Garcia) decide to explore their relationship further, knowing full well it could cause tension between their families.

As the summer draws to a close, Blair (series star Leighton Meester) and Chuck (series star Ed Westwick) are madly in love and adjusting to their new "in a relationship" status, though breaking all traditional rules of dating, as would be expected. Serena (series star Blake Lively) returns from her European adventure with many secrets to hide and a complicated relationship with Carter Baizen (recurring guest star Sebastian Stan - Kings). Nate (series star Chace Crawford) returns from his travels with a mysterious brunette, Bree Buckley (recurring guest star JoAnna Garcia - Privileged, Reba) in tow. Rufus (series star Matthew Settle), Dan (series star Penn Badgley) and Jenny (series star Taylor Momsen) spent the summer in the Hamptons, adjusting to the van der Woodsen's glamorous lifestyle surprisingly faster than any of them expected. The series also stars Jessica Szohr as Vanessa and Kelly Rutherford as Lily van der Woodsen Bass.
